Reference Instructions

From EMS Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Here are easy instructions on how to provide references for the material you contribute:

1)After you've written the text you would like to contribute, type <ref>

2)Cite the source

3)Then type </ref>

4)If you do not already see this tag <references/>, you can add it to the bottom. It will list the references in the form of a list, as seen below.

Example paragraph:

Here is an example paragraph:

"Such-and such county employs a thousand paramedics and a thousand EMTs. Each ambulance is staffed with one paramedic and one EMT,
and there are one million ambulances on the streets at any given time. <ref>Source that cites there are one million ambulances goes here</ref>".

Which will actually look like this when you save the page:

"Such-and such county employs a thousand paramedics and a thousand EMTs. Each ambulance is staffed with one paramedic and one EMT,
and there are one million ambulances on the streets at any given time. [1]"

Please note that this will not work if the Rich Editor is enabled.
