The St. James Fire Department, Inc. is a non-profit, tax exempt volunteer organization established to provide fire prevention and protection, as well as First Responder Emergency Medical Services to residents of the Town of St. James and the St. James Rural Fire District, as defined by North Carolina and Brunswick County officials. Further, we have a mutual aid agreement with all other Brunswick County fire departments, which defines mutual support for fire incidents.
