Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. is a New Mexico owned and operated Private Corporation, and has been in business since 1974. Superior’s current ownership is the third in its corporate history, and last changed ownership in 1994. Since the 1994 change of ownership, Superior has made great strides to meet the ambulance needs within New Mexico. In so much that since 1996 Superior has grown over 900%, and was recognized in the May 2001 issue of INC Magazine, “Inner-City 100, Fastest Growing Private Corporations” achieving a rank of 59th, and as of recent INC Magazine, has recognized Superior in the September 2007 and the September 2009 issue's “INC 500/5000 Private Corporations”.
Superior is a contract provider for numerous Municipalities, New Mexico Health Care Systems, and Health Plans, in Albuquerque Metro, Santa Fe, the County of Torrance, the City of Las Vegas NM, the County of San Miguel, the City of Roswell, and throughout the State of New Mexico. Superior also provides interstate and intrastate ambulance transportation.
Superior’s corporate management has dedicated itself to Customer Service, Quality Care, and Competitive Service's. Since the inception of the current ownership, Superior has developed a Continuous Quality Improvement Program that ensures quality patient care, reliable medical services, and continuous advanced medical training to its personnel.
Superior is an advanced care provider, and is capable of effectively competing with all services within the State of New Mexico. Superior is continuously improving its operation through the Quality Improvement Program, which includes continuous advanced training, annual equipment replacement, and advanced cardiac and respiratory equipment. Superior’s CQI program reviews every medical transport for level of care, quality of care, response times, and compliance.
Superior’s levels of service include 911 services, Emergency and Non-Emergency Inter-Facility Transfers. Superior offers 4 levels of service, BLS, ILS, ACLS, and Critical Care Transport.
The mission of Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. is to provide comprehensive, pre-hospital care and transportation to the community, businesses, medical facilities, and residents of the area they serve, while promoting financial stability and individual growth for our employees.

Through direct supervision and peer review, Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. shall assume the leadership role in assuring that high quality, pre-hospital care services are provided and are responsive to the needs of our primary service area.
